Poker Hand Rules
Poker is prominent card game played by people in foreign casinos. This international card game has many variants. Different rules are implied on poker variants. Hand ranks play a major role in poker. Typical hands can win game, while loose hands tighten the game. Generally, in poker players construct a five cards hand in accordance to the rules of the game. Few poker variants follow a 2 or 3 card hand.
These hands of a player are compared with a standard hand ranking system, and the player having the highest rank card is declared as the winner of the pot. Players who have cards of similar suit are said to have high rank cards. Players who have aces along with other cards like 2,3,4,5 are said to have low hand, while players who have cards like A, Q, J, K, 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2 are said to have high rank hand. Suits are of zero value. These suits are used to determine the category to which a player’s hand belongs to.
Hand ranks are dependent on the basic fundamental rules of the poker. Three fundamental rules of (5 or 7 card stud, high and high low split) are: The deck is counted from lowest number 2 to ace. Here ace is the highest single card. Each player can use 5 cards to make best hand. These five cards consist of cards dealt to players and cards placed on table. The third rule says that player having the highest rank card wins the pot.
