Pokerstars online and Offline?

Pokerstars has done a great deal for the world of online poker over the years and now the biggest poker room in the world is taking some of that experience to the newly opened Hippodrome Casino in the heart of London. The poker deck at the Hippodrome will be fully refurbished and re-branded by Pokerstars offering space for live tournaments and is sure to become one of the main attractions at the casino. Further down the line the Hippodrome also plans to have a Pokerstars online room at the casino, truly giving all poker players the best of both worlds. There will be more news to come regarding this venture however Guy Templar, the group strategy director for stars states that this will raise the bar in the UK casino industry by offering players the same great live 24/7 in the heart of London. They are looking at unveiling some new live events in 2013 and we eagerly await details. The Hippodrome also has plans to use Microgaming technology to offer an online casino too. Could this be the start of a new trend where online and offline come together? We will have to wait and see with that one, however it's good to see the bricks and mortar casinos at last embracing the world of online gaming.
