888 Poker Overtakes Full Tilt

888 Poker

continues to make waves both side of the Atlantic as it overtakes Full Tilt Poker to take third spot in online poker cash game traffic and also signs a deal with Wynn Casinos to offer online gambling in the US.

Poker Scout, the poker numbers tracking site tells us that over the last seven days 888 poker has delivered a higher average than Full Tilt Poker in numbers of players at cash game tables. Not long ago 888 overtook Party into fourth place and that growth has quite obviously continued as it now sits third above both Tilt and Party, however is still some way off PokerStars at the top. Full Tilt returned in 2012 and automatically jumped straight back to second place in the rankings, however it was clear that many players were there to either test the water or play and withdraw what cash they had on the site and having been in a battle with iPoker Network for some time, finally got budged out of the way just last week, and has now been overtaken by 888 Poker. This may be a glitch as the large tournament series miniFTOPS is running at present which may have dragged a fair few players away from their usual cash games.

888 Signs Deal With Wynn

There's a boost from the other side of the Atlantic too as 888 and Wynn have penned an agreement which will see Wynn's online poker site sit on the 888 Holdings All American Poker Network. Executive Chairman at the AAPN stated that, "The platform and ancillary services AAPN will offer through 888, coupled with Wynn's marquee brand, which is synonymous with quality and trust, will further establish our offering in the forming U.S. regulated online gaming market." Busy days at 888 Poker it seems, and with the way things are moving in the US it looks only like getting busier.
