WSOP Circuit Season 12 Released

All eyes may be on Las Vegas and the WSOP that's taking place right now but there is poker life outside of Sin City and the WSOP Circuit 2015-2016 has been unveiled, with a few changes having been made to previous years tours.

This will be the 12th season of the Circuit and for the first time ever there will be international WSOP Circuit events with 6 overseas stops confirmed so far, and there's also the chance for players to get their hands on a WSOP Bracelet in the season finale of the WSOP Global Casino Championship. The new Circuit season will begin on August 6th at Connecticut at the Foxwoods Resort Casino and run all the way through until May 2016 with a total of 25 events confirmed to date, with one of those being the new Las Vegas stop at Bally's Casino.

Regular players will be pleased to hear that as far as locations are concerned then it's much of the same as previous years, with 2 stops scheduled at the Horseshoe Baltimore in Maryland, the Kennel Club in Florida, The Bicycle in L.A, The Horseshoe Tunica and the season ending at Harrah's New Orleans, and buy ins will remain between $365 and $1,675 to take your seat in Main Events.

Main Event winners will be collecting Gold Rings as usual, and winners of those rings who don't qualify for the National Championships will this year get the option to be able to buy in to the Global Casino Championship, something that wasn't possible in previous years. The points system to get into that end of season big one will remain the same, rewarding players who enter multiple events, and it's great to see that the WSOP, although of course paying a whole lot of attention to its marquee event in Vegas, is giving a little love to the smaller Circuit events too, and we look forward to the new WSOP Circuit season.
