How to Lose $18 Million by Gus Hansen

Poker Pro Gus Hansen has been on what you may call a bit of a losing streak and according to HighStakesDB he has lost a quite staggering amount of $17.8 Million at Full Tilt Poker alone making him one of the largest losers on the site. He has been playing on Tilt (no pun intended) for a decade, however a huge $8 Million was lost last year, and this year to date he is down a cool $3 Million, meaning that a huge chunk of these losses have come in the last 18 months or so. A few fellow pro's, most notably Dan Cates have said that he will turn it around, however in a recent interview with Card Player Magazine he did say that, "I don't think he is a favorite against anyone he is playing against, I think he's a dog in almost every game he is playing in. Not everyone, but pretty close." The Great Dane took a while out before returning to the virtual felt in 2012 and has stood by Tilt since their return to the online poker world, now being owned by PokerStars of course.

In other Full Tilt news the new casino offering at the site will be adding Net Entertainment slots in the near future and this is coming on the back of the launch of their casino back in January 2014 when they rolled out the initial casino games of blackjack and roulette. This was seen as the split between themselves and PokerStars with the two rooms now being very different offerings. US online poker players may not play either online poker or casino games at either brand with Bovada being the most popular US place to play right now.
