WSOP Circuit Palm Beach Attracts Huge Numbers

WSOP Event Palm Springs Drawing in the Crowds

The state of Florida saw the second biggest poker event ever held in the state this week. The WSOP Circuit Event at the Palm Beach Kennel Club drew in huge numbers making it the largest attendance of a WSOP Circuit held so far this year. The current seasons biggest was held in Chicago at the Horseshoe Hammond but the Kennel Club beat it, even though the buy in was a little higher at $580 as opposed to the $380 in Chicago. Florida seems to be a growing poker destination and last years event holds the record for the biggest turn out to a poker tournament in the state, meaning the last two years have been huge successes. This is putting a little pressure on the organizers to keep these type of numbers coming through the doors. The $580 buy in is event 1 and with a guarantee, as with last year, of $1 Million it's no wonder the players have flocked to Palm Beach. The guarantee is great and that will be easily beat when the final numbers are released making this one huge WSOP Circuit event. This is of course a ring event and with day three just starting the fimal table should be up and ready to play by the scheduled Monday. This event is just the start of what will be a fantastic week of live poker action at Palm Beach and there are still another nine gold ring events to even start. Event 11 is the main event kicking off on Saturday February 23rd at 11 am with a buy in of $1,675. This is an official WSOP tournament and points will count in WSOP standings. The three day tournament should pull in some great players wanting to escape that cold weather up North, and we'll keep you posted.
