WSOPE Berlin Schedule Released

The World Series of Poker Europe is back and has a record breaking 10 WSOP bracelets up for grabs. Taking place in the superb city of Berlin between October 8th and October 24th at the Spielbank Berlin, the WSOPE 2015 schedule is out and there's plenty of great live tournament action available for all bankroll sizes.

This will be the first time that the WSOP have held an event in Germany, and over the last few years there's been a surge in German poker talent arriving on the scene with Martin Jacobson the WSOP Player of the year 2014 and Pius Heinz winning the WSOP Main Event in Vegas in 2011, making Berlin a somewhat fitting place to hold this most prestigious of European poker events.

There's a huge range of buy ins available, from the 550 Euro Oktoberfest No Limit Hold'em 5 day event, through to the somewhat larger 25,600 Euro High Roller No Limit Hold'em tournament which is sure to attract the big players from around the world. The WSOPE Main Event, which was won by Spanish player Adrian Mateos in Paris in 2013 will be a 10,450 Euro buy in tournament and will run over 7 days from October 18th.

Other tournaments on the agenda include Event 8 which is the 1,100 Euro Turbo No Limit Hold'em re-entry, Event 4 the Monster Stack No Limit 1,650 buy in, and kicking the whole series off is the 2,200 Euro buy in Six Handed No Limit Hold'em tournament. It will be interesting to see who turns out and whether many of the US pro's will make the journey across the Atlantic for this one, or whether they'll leave it to the European players to battle it out for the 10 bracelets on offer.

What a great poker playing and beer drinking fall it looks to be in Germany, with the Oktoberfest in Munich finishing on October 3rd and giving players a few days to sober up and gather their thoughts before taking to the tables in Berlin!
