iPoker Network to Launch Mobile Poker Soon!

The iPoker network, Playtech's poker platform has announced an update which brings players on the network's major rooms a Mobile Poker offering via HTML. The announcement states that the release of the product will be within weeks. The roll out comes after a period of beta testing, which by the sounds of things went pretty well however only major skins on the network will initially be able to offer the product. Bet365 will be one of those rooms to be offering mobile poker and there's also a new 54 tier Elite VIP program on the cards too. The VIP program will be aimed at increasing lifetime player value and loyalty of the players, which benefits both parties. Players will soon be able to see how they are doing as far as rewards and levels are concerned via a progress bar within the client. The new loyalty program will offer full customization to accommodate the needs of each room and iPoker are allowing a full 12 months for skins to do this. It seems it's going to be a big roll out as on top of all that there will also be all new Shootout and Heads Up tournament options with a heads up re-match option, similar to that of PokerStars and configurable betting buttons. At the moment iPoker is the second largest place to play, behind Stars of course, but just beating Full Tilt and the Party Poker network into second place as far as cash games are concerned. Not long ago, it didn't look too good for the network as it was announced that it was in decline, however that's now in the past and after a period of stabilization it's heading in the right direction once again. The two tier platform is said to have done the trick, and although many observers criticized it, sticking with the decision looks to have paid off for Playtech. The addition of new skins will not have hurt either, with Betfair, Gala Coral, Unibet and Everest all coming on board.
