Jonathan Dimmig Wins 2014 WSOP Millionaire Maker Event

It took a long 4 days to determine the winner of the WSOP 2014 Millionaire Maker and after a gruelling test it was Jonathan Dimming who took home way more than the one million dollar guarantee. In his first ever WSOP cash Dimming won a staggering $1,319,587 when seeing off a huge field of 7,977 players at the Rio Hotel in Vegas. The New Yorker has played regularly on the WSOP circuit with his largest ever win in that standing at $11,106 meaning that this payday blows that out of the water, as he became this years first seven figure sum winner. After the win Dimming stated that, “My goal on the first day was just to make it through the day, I’d played the Main Event here all the last three years and never even cashed in that. So coming in, my goal was really to just get the money off my back and just cash. That’s really all I wanted to do.” He did it and then some, in a tournament that saw the second ever largest amount of players in a live event.
