Schedule For WSOP Circuit 2014/2015 Announced

The schedule for the WSOP Circuit Tour 2014/2015 has been announced and it includes three new stops. This is the 11th year of the WSOP Circuit and it gets bigger each time around and this year there will be a total of 21 stops, all starting at the Palm Beach Kennel Club in Florida on July 31st. With last years player involvement setting a record of 81,440 tournament entries, hopes for this year are high as not only have three great new venues been added, but there will also be double stops at the popular Kennel Club and at Harrah's Cherokee.

The new venues are the Horseshoe in Baltimore, Harrah's Ak-Chin in Arizona and Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, and although there are a few changes and additions to the schedule, the format of each stop will remain the same, with a "12 rings in 12 days" tagline being used. The tour will run all the way through until May 2015 and there will be at least one stop per month, however there is no date or location as to the National Championships yet, and a points system will be used to determine the top 100 players who will all make it to the Nationals, with a $1 Million guaranteed tournament prize pool on the cards for that one.

Just like last year, each stop on the tour will have a $1,675 Main Event that concludes each series and WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart stated that, "With big fields, good value, and exciting stops, the action doesn't stop all year long, We're proud that many of the game's brightest stars are being developed on the WSOP Circuit, and that by number of entrants, it has become the clear No. 1 mid-stakes tour in the world."
