Full Tilt Poker Launch Mobile Poker Beta Application

Full Tilt Poker, following in the footsteps of PokerStars has released a Mobile Poker application, at least on Beta. The app will feature the speed poker variation at Tilt, Rush poker and it's the first mobile offering from online poker giant since the takeover by Rational Group last year. It is only a Beta version and will only feature Rush poker but it's a step in the right direction and no doubt will be a hit with the growing number of mobile poker players around the world. At present it is only available as an HTML5 version but there are plans in the pipeline for it to be launched on both Android and iOS operating systems in the very near future should things go well.

There's a few variations of Rush poker available on the new app with cash games ranging from $0.02/$0.05 to $2/$4 for No Limit Hold'em, Fixed Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha, and Omaha Hi/Lo. There is a fair amount of growth in the mobile poker market and this move follows PokerStars successful venture with its own turbo version, Zoom poker. Zoom mobile is available on Stars dot.com and all country dot.com markets with a huge amount of marketing revenue pushing it along. Full Tilt was in fact was one of the first online poker companies to offer mobile poker, back in 2010 however Black Friday put pay to any growth in that area at the time. Just like mobile casino, mobile poker is the fastest growing area of the industry as a whole and whilst we have seen a large rise in mobile casino use, mobile poker has not taken off as quickly however is now starting to play catch up. Maybe it was the fact that poker was not suitable until turbo versions of the game came along, no-one really wants to play in a long tournament for example on their mobile, but quick hit and run games such as Zoom and Rush fit the bill perfectly.
