WSOP Circuit Events to go Global!

Great news for worldwide WSOP fans as the great WSOP Circuit events are going international. As part of deals between casino groups and the biggest poker brand in the world, there will also be branded WSOP events and chances to qualify for the WSOP in Vegas at many casinos across the globe. So far three deals have been done and soon we'll see Circuit events taking place in Mexico, Italy and Morocco and WSOP Executive Ty Stewart states that, "It's time to emphasize the 'World' in World Series of Poker and more aggressively partner with leading casino operators at the regional level." Stewart also believes that it's what players want, indeed many are thinking why hasn't this been done earlier.

The very first international WSOP Circuit event will be taking place as of March 7th in Marrakech and there will be eight Gold Ring tournaments that will include a Main Event, as well as providing a casino champion that will automatically qualify for the 2023 WSOP International Championship freeroll that has a $1 Million prize pool. The Marrakech event will also be serving up satellites that will enable players to gain entry to the 2015 WSOP in Las Vegas and the WSOP 2023 Europe.

There's also big news coming from down in Monterrey as the Casino Jubilee de Monterrey will be the first casino outside of the Caesar's umbrella to have a branded WSOP poker room with Circuit events coming next year. In September 2015 the Circuit will be heading to Italy as the Casino Campione D'Italia hosts the very first WSOP Italian event, as well as satellites to the big one in Vegas. Ty Stewart and his team are busy finalizing these initial events and once that's done the plans are to add more countries and more venues to the list, breaking new ground and getting the WSOP name as far and as wide as is possible.
