Steve Wynn has also joined the push for federal online gaming legislation. He has just announced a partnership with Pokerstars to create a new poker site online provided federal legislation is passed. Although he has not received approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board, he is nonetheless moving forward despite the Nevada Gaming Commission's reluctance to approve such a move. In conjunction with this partnership, Pokerstars is pushing hard for a bill in Nevada that would allow US operators to obtain a license with other jurisdictions. While federal legislation would be the ultimate solution for all states, no one is counting on this to happen anytime soon.
