Three more Online Poker Thumbs up from Nevada

This week the Nevada Gaming Commission gave the green light to three companies by granting them licenses to operate and do business in the states new online intrastate poker industry. The three are, American Casino and Entertainment Properties who own several casinos including the Stratosphere, two Arizona Charlies and also the Aquarius in Laughlin, Poker Trip Enterprises who will act in a limited capacity involved in online poker marketing, and the well known WMS Industries Inc as an interactive gaming system manufacturer and service provider. With the entrance of ACEP into the market they hope their bricks and mortar experience will put them in good stead and of course they already have a large poker playing database to give them a kick start. They will also use the poker site and the social gaming side of the online industry to drive people to their land based casinos. The Poker Trip license was the first to be given in that particular category, as in essence they are an affiliate and will be helping drive traffic to the new poker rooms. So that's another three additions to the growing list of companies about to enter the equation and with technical testing taking place at the moment it may not be long before we see the first real money hand played online in the state of Nevada.
