Full 2015 WSOP Schedule Released

The World Series of Poker 2015 full schedule has been released and there are a few good surprises in the in mix. The Main Event will be a $10,000 buy in but will not have the $10 Million guaranteed first placed prize, however it will instead pay all the way down to 1,000th place should at least 5,000 players enter, which almost all players believe is for the better. The big one kicks off on July 5th however pokers big dance will begin on May 27th and will of course take place at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

This will be the 46th WSOP and there will be a total of 68 events including 11 new events with the one that's sparking most interest being the all new Event 64: The $1,000 WSOP.com Online No Limit Holdem . That's right, for the first time in poker history there's an online WSOP event as part of the series, and that takes place on Thursday July 2nd with the last 2 players to play it out on the second day.

Other events of note include Event 5: The Colossus $565 No Limit Hold'em which is a bracelet event and will guarantee a $5 Million first placed payout, and that one stands a very good chance of bringing in a huge field of players. There's also Event 55: Draftkings 50/50 No Limit Hold'em in which 50% of the entrants will make the money seats, and there's also the $50,000 Poker Players Championship, and the $1,111 Little One for One Drop which will also attract a large field. There's the $1,000 Seniors No Limit Hold'em tournament and on top of that, for players aged 65 and over there's also the Super Seniors NLHE too, and the Ladies No Limit Hold'em Championship event also makes a return.

It's a varied schedule and the addition of the online element will have many players stoked, and WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart believes that, "If you've never thought about coming to Las Vegas for the WSOP, this is the year, Now more than ever, the WSOP has something for everyone and with this schedule we believe the value and the opportunity for player success exists in each and every event we are offering in 2015."
