PokerStars to go Offline in Madrid

The worlds largest online poker site PokerStars has teamed up with the Casino Gran Madrid to bring an all new super modern poker room to the Spanish capital. The room, currently under construction will accommodate 200 players over 20 tables and will be mainly focused on offering tournaments and will be promoted via Stars Spanish website along with that of the casino itself. Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2013 this state of the art Stars experience has chosen Casino Gran Madrid as it's the most popular in the area and already has the expertise in place to organize top quality poker tourneys. Guy Templer Head of Business Development at Stars has stated that, "Establishing a permanent PokerStars branded poker room, with an innovative interior design, has been created to take poker to a new level and this extra dimension will catch the interest of all national and international players. Our ambition is to create an amazing atmosphere to play poker, adapting the lighting, the seats and the audiovisual support to the needs of the poker player". It seems that everything is in place and that Madrid is soon to experience some awesome offline poker by the biggest online poker team. Along with a great regular schedule, there will be monthly and quarterly specials, and of course Stars will be adding their own magic touch when it comes to attracting pros and celebrities alike, and why wouldn't they want to go, sounds like a blast!
