WSOP.com Launches Android App in New Jersey

Players at WSOP.com in New Jersey can now get their poker action on the go with the release of the new Android application and to check it out then you may simply download it from their website. The installation process is simple enough however a few players have reported geolocation issues and that the app fails to recognize where you are at times. You must allow the app to find your location via the settings, in the Location Access panel, as without that your account cannot be verified. When you have the app up and running however you'll find that it runs very well and has some very nice features.

The cashier within the app works very well, it even remembers your last depositing method and will point you towards that, which saves a little time, however the cashier launches in Chrome meaning that it can be a little frustrating going from a browser back to the app over and again should you need to. Once your account is funded you'll find a very good games selection from real money Texas Hold'em cash games, to MTT's and Sit n Go's with the only real issue here being that only Hold'em is available.

Overall, the app, especially the tournament lobby is very well designed and once in then navigation is very good allowing you to get from game to game very easily and quickly, with the format being easy on the eye and a smooth experience at the tables. Like with most mobile poker apps at the moment the usual drawbacks in the game choice and options are there but on the whole it's a great effort from WSOP and players in New Jersey should check it out. If you're outside of the Golden State then the best US mobile poker app is that of Carbon Poker and players from most states are permitted to play. Again, like most apps it's far from poker perfection but there's a great array of real money cash games and sit n go's and it more than does the job.
